Best thing is to go to every new dealership in town and look at cars. Find a color you like and get the paint code. Or go to a hot rod show and find something there. Most owners will gladly tell you paint codes. Lastly just keep an eye out for a car and note what kind and approximately what year is. Its much better to see what a color looks like on a car rather than trying to pick one from pictures and paint chips.

Candy Apple to a deep maroon, it was a custom job. Its got metal flake in it and it looks very professional up close. I didn't do the job. The car was given to me not too long ago and i've done nothing to it yet for lack of money. I gotta get a job soon to support the car.

I think the paint looks decent as it is, not sure about the wheels though.

yeah i really don't like the four lugs..i'd rather have some 5- welds. but the wheels are Carroll Shelby so i keep them no matter what.

I like the current color because I haven't seen another Maverick that color before, but the final decision is yours! :)

Look at this way, what you don't spend on the paint job now, you could put towards some other mods that you may want to do.
    Just my .02 worth.

Get the 302! It is a lot cheaper to make a mav fast with a 302 than a 250. It took me a real long time to find the right engine, but I found one. Keep looking.
