colour question

    when i paint my car i want to keep the original colour ... its green but i'm not sure what shade ????? theres a picture of a mav and its about the same color.. i think it was rainiers mav...72???? any way i 've want to keep the same color and redo the comet gt stripping with a little wordage differance...

    and another question would the mav carbon fiber hood and rear spoiler fit on my 72 comet???????

    The hood will bolt on but will not line up with your grill. The Comet hood sticks further out in the center.

    Yea, you would have to swap the grille, bumper, filler panel, and remove the extra Comet bumper braces. Your car would then look like a Maverick from the front and Comet from the back, aka "Comick". :)

    as much as i like the hood , ive got a comet...i will have to find a different cowl hood set up.....

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    rear spolier will fit you'll just need to drill holes in the trunk lid to make it fit since it was designed to replace grabber spoilers on grabber trunks. i think someone has a template on here (was that you craig?) The end caps will bolt on but you’ll need to shave off the bottom mount to fit your year car since I made them for 73s too which are a bit different.

    the hood will fit too but as other have said it won't line up with the grill. Sean has a Comick J heres a photo of it.
