Comet Cowl Carbonfiber Hood

    I called VIS about that hood. It's for a Maverick and the reason it was made was because the editor of Super Street has a built Maverick that looks similar to car pictured. Comet hoods are different. The comet has the point on the hood where a mavericks is flat. I think this would be cool for the maverick guys though. Not too many of them would run a carbon fiber hood IMO. Too ricey or new school for them. I'm considering running that hood on my comet and changing the grill to make it work.

    that pic you see from VIS that is MaverickMan's car, he put that on there not all that long ago, and tried to sell them on here, I don't know what kinda luck he had, I love the way that look, but that is just to far out of my price range for a hood.

    I like the way the hood looks also. I just don't have 650 + shipping for a hood. If it was cut in half or more i would probably have one sitting here. I've always wanted a whole care done in CF but only thing i've seen for maverick is this hood. I remember seeing LONG time ago mirrors that someone made for their own car and I think valve covers but could be wrong about covers....
