Comet Custom?

    I was at the junkyard and saw a 72 Comet that was light brown with a white vinyl top. It had a black interior and a bench seat. On the side of the vinyl top was a chrome emblem that said "custom". I have never heard of a Comet custom. Has anybody else?

    I've seen aftermarketscript that you can buy that says "hotrod, streetrod", and one tha says "custom". Its something someone stuck on there.

    either that or stole it of an old ford pick up........
    maybe they were going to haul wood in it lol
