Hi, I'm Lionel from Switzerland, my father's got a Ford Mercury Comet 1972 four doors, 6cyl. 250hp with automatic transmission. I just speak a little english and I hope that you can understand me. But with my dictionnary I believe that I can make it. I dream that I can go to USA one day, but first I'm going to finish my "student work"...I'm fanatic of all US muscle cars and I hate Japanese cars... My father's Comet is unique in Switzerland and I believe it looks good and runs very well for her age!!! It makes me happy to find this forum because in Switzerland, and I believe everywhere in Europe, this car's not very famous!!! Just my father's specimen in Switzerland... Hello and Welcome!! Looks great! We have (I think) 3 four door Comets in Finland and you can check out them all from my pictures. Comets seems to be quite rare in Europe and maybe that isn't bad thing.... My car is -72 4D 302+c4 and others are with 6-engine in Finland. Musclecars can found and see everywhere(?) in right place and time, BUT most people doesn't even recognize Comet at all! I have also liked musclecars and my friends have had some (Original Chevelle SS 454 -72 (swapped LS-5 => LS-6), Cuda 340 cabriolet -70 etc.) and I loved to drive those musclecars. Welcome to the board. Your English is good, much better than my Swiss-speak. The first picture you posted is the only time I've thought a 4-door Comet looked good .. congratulations, that's a beautiful car you've got there.
