Comet in "Kill the Irishman"

Looked like a black big bumper with painted bumpers. A car bomb blows up the car next to it. Fortunately it was just outside the blasting zone. I haven't seen the movie yet. My wife was watching it and its set in the 70's (its chock full o' old cars) so I told her to keep her eyes peeled for a Maverick. She did good.

 

As it turns out there is a better angle of the same car earlier in the movie...




Then a small bumper Mav:




Then back to the Comet:




And yet again, same Comet (which is actually navy blue with small bumpers):

 

Looks like a small bumper maverick with a comet front clip but that may not be true.

 

I noticed two of those scenes. Good movie.

Two different cars, guys.

One picture has maverick taillights, another has comet lights. 1:35:47 picture appears to have different taillights.

Same colored car. Coincidence, or sneaky attempt at tricking the masses? :16suspect

 

you are right the one a 1:17 is more blue and has a chrome bumper while the other is more black and pained bumper

 

:16suspect Ok, I realize there was a lot of distractions on the screen so I am guessing you didnt read my captions. So I went back and made the captions a bit easier to see.
