    "Maverick with V-8"

One could consider this a good case of "Life Immitating Art", as in 1970 our cars were not available with V8 power until after this book was published. This article talks about none other than Doug Nash (famous for his Pro-Shift Transmissions) installing V8's in Mavericks on 'production line basis'.

The book has gotten a little mouldy over the years, so I scanned them to have for ever. And by the looks of it, I would say that is a Boss 302?:chirp:

All good stuff, coming from my previous days of Maverick Memorabilia collecting while rummaging through my Dad's stuff when I was younger.

The title of the book is:

Complete Book of Engine swapping No.3
    By Leroi Tex Smith
Copyright 1970 by Petersen Publishing Co
Not sure of ISBN, as the back pages were somewhat tattered.

I've seen that one before too.. some good stuff there and thanks for sharing.

That pic of those bundle-of-snake like cleveland headers sure brings back memories too.
