My original heater hoses are in amazing good shape but I would like to replace them for safety anyway. No sense trusting a 40 year old hose .... I've looked around and can find a nice repop Autolite yellow stripe with a 1970 date code - but nothing that totally matches the Maverick stock hoses with the white imprinted part numbers. Does anybody know a source for the "correct" hoses with Maverick markings? I guess I could always buy a rubber stamp kit and mark up my own .........
Did you look at Mustang stuff? I used 73 reproduction hose, it has the yellow stripe and Autolite on it, they make it for different years. Mine was made by Marti Auto works.
Yes, I have found that at Mustang places and ebay. I was wondering about hoses that have the correct markings for a Maverick. Maybe a custom order place that can print on the right part numbers in white like the original. Interesting too that the Maverick hoses have their length printed on them along with the part numbers - 56" and 40"
