conversion 250ci L6 to 302 V8

    Hi anyone know is the conversion engine from 250 ci L6 to 302 V8 can damage the car´s train?????

    The only difference in the drive train is the Transmission. Depending on the car the C4 might have fewer clutches in the six cylinder car than it does in a V8 car. The only way to know for sure is to disassemble it. I would say if the C4 was in the Maverick with the 250 then you are probably ok with a stock 302 if you add a cooler and run both the cooler in the radiator and the aftermarket cooler in series. (run the front cooler tube to the radiator cooler and then from the radiator cooler to the auxillary cooler and then from the auxillary cooler to the back cooler line into the tranny)

    You just need all the parts for a swap. I think there's some threads that detail all the parts you need. Like newtoford said use the search feature on the tool bar.:)
