Hello guy's & girls. I haven"t posted anything for a long time, because of the lack of work. I still have my mav & I'm still working on it. Finally got the right motor mounts. When I bought the car, it was supposed to have the right ones. WRONG! After test fitting the short-block 2 different times, I reallized they were the wrong frame mounts. I bought the right ones from KarKrafters. fit right in. I want to put headers on it, but lack of funds find me trying to get the cast iron manifolds to work. but they dont fit either. they are 302 manifolds. but they hit on the shock towers. A friend of mine gave them to me. I dont think there maverick manifolds. I keep running into brickwalls. the motors complete, trannys hooked up, but it looks like it will be spring before I can get my headers. Thanks for such a cool forum. I like to see all the cool mavs. & read all the tech articalls
Are the headers from a Maverick. Any other cars headers will not fit. Has to be Maverick specific. Keep in touch.
