While cleaning out my Photobucket account, I ran across this picture. It's me in my 74 Grabber (@1997) driving inside the St.Thomas Assembly plant, along side the same assembly line my car was built on 23 years earlier. I just thought I'd share, I don't think many people have ever had the chance to do something like this...? I'm feeling strangely sentimental today....I need some garage time!!
Dave that's pretty cool. I know of no one else who has had that opportunity. Looks like they were building Crown Vic cop cars and taxis at that time?
Pretty much what they still build today, with the addition of the Town Cars. Every Crown Vic you see, came from St.Thomas, and they are all over the world.
That is just cool! I doubt that there are many cars of any brand that have been photographed like that. Mine is a St Thomas car , too, but it won't ever make it back up there as long as I own it, I'm sure.
