The whole car needs restored. This is just a sample. It runs and drives but I don't know if I wanna start with this one or look for one in better shape. This is a 69 1/2 but I'm thinking V8 and it sure looks a long way off from this.

I'm gonna build this one. I just got a little discouraged after watching it sit there all winter. I've got a 74 Mustang ll parts car. I'll probably use the buckets out of it.

Interior is easier than you think to restore, lets see some exterior pics.

Take on a spot at a time and don't worry about the rest of it.
We all need some inspiration at times.
I come to this forum for it. I love seeing before and after pics even of the smallest things. All the little projects add up to great car eventually.
I've been working on a rear quarter panel for 3 days and I'm not done yet and it may look like crap when I am done but I'm learning.
    Take a look at this...

You need to determine your long range goals. Then don't waste a lot of money on stuff that just wont be there latter. Take care of mechanical things. Brakes, steering and suspension are the most important. It's better to let it sit until you have the money to do what you really want done. Example, don't spend a lot of money doing a brake job on 4 lug set up when you know you will convert to disc later on. Its better to let it sit until you have the money for the disc. You'll save a lot of money in the long run but it takes more patience. JMO

I'm doing pretty much the exact same thing as you. I have a 69 1/2 as well. You can see pics of it at www.fordmaverick.iwarp.com, its a site i built in like 5 mins so its quite unfinished. So far, i basicly just changed the paint, and cleaned it up a bit, It came with a 302, out of a 83 mustang. The interior still needs somework, but in due time that'll be done. The frount end was squeeking and i had to replace the drivers side tierod...but other then that the things been a dream. I've been really lucky with this one. A running, stright bodied maverkick with next to no rust, for 750 canadian...can't go wrong with that. I'm getting some rims for it in less then a week, and at that point i'll have about $5200 into it.

    any questions just ask
