cowl hoods

    i was wondering if anyone can help me find a cowl hood for my 72 mav. i have a grabber hood sitting around but i dont like the look of it . id rather keep it stock w/ a hood scoop or a cowl. thanks derrick

    If that's where Wilbur got his, that's a very nice hood, and strong, too. He told me the guy stood on the cowl and it didn't even faze it.

    i've got an aero scoop hood from usbodysource. it's a pin on hood but the quality is pretty good. i don't have anything to compare it to as it's the first glass hood i've bought. one thing i'll warn you about though is the shipping. there in florida, my hood was shipped to phoenix. the hood cost $349 and the shipping was an extra $143. us body said it was only going to be about $80.

    Yes I got mine from USBodySource do'nt remember the cost or the
    shipping cost it is a well made hood did not take a lot of work to finish it. the fit was very good I had a extra latch which I mounted
    in the holes for the latch which were perfect had my son help me
    take off orgn. bolted glass hood on right out of the box fit perfect.
    My thoughts are they are a very good hood.

    thanx for the info. i saw a coouple i wanted but all way outta the renge i expected to pay for a hood. but ill be doing somethinking as soon as the 302 gets back from the shop. Also to let you all know i have a grabber hood for sale . check out parts for sale.thanx derrick
