cowl weatherstrip

    i've been searching through the gallery but couldn't really quite tell..i'm about to put a new one on and it doesn't reach from side to side and i seen in the gallery some are cut off on each side at the last snap in thing, am i supposed to cut there on either side or what..because one side is longer than the other also. this is an upside down L shaped looking cowl strip from steelrubber if that matters

    The early Mavericks only had the cowl seal in the middle...where the bulge is in the hood and the cowl. Later years it went all the way across the cowl. Not sure when they changed. I t looks like you have a 1974. Maybe somebody else will chime in and let us know.

    Oh god Ill be upset if it's the wrong one.. It's the only one they had listed. it may have only been 20 bucks but Shipping was like almost 30 bucks
