    Hi all,
Long time since i've posted on here, my Maverick hasn't run for almost two years! Almost got it going again, but i ran into a problem.

Years ago i did a serpentine belt conversion. I used a crank/w.p./alt pulley off an '85 Mercury Grand Marquis. Now i have a new harmonic damper that doesn't stick out quite as far, and i'm almost 1" shy.

Does anyone know of any crank pulleys that stick out 1" more than the Grand Marquis, without having a rediculous pulley diameter? I'm trying to avoid buying a custom (expensive) unit! Thanks,
    ~Chris

I had the same problem with my Sprint although mine was 3/8 short. I dont know what it is about aftermarket harmonic balancers. I had a machine shop make me a spacer for the pully. Cost about $30.
