I think I'd park my car after that run.

I don't know about "creepy", but some of that just looks like "Stupid" driving to me. Unless you are John Force no one in their right mind would continue with your foot to the floor once you get the front end up past a certain point..................just an accident wating to happen and once you start going from side to side down the track trying to over correct is totally useless............................I am glad they were able to walk away, but in my book they were asking for trouble.
I don't have my under 10 sec license yet (but hope to this next year) and do have my SCCA competition drivers license and can tell you that things happen in nano seconds on the track and you have little time to react..but
sliding out of control at 100+mph and correcting does take some learned skill............been there and done that................without hitting a K-wall or someone else.....................and on a road course like Laguna Seca you have other cars infront of you, behind you, and beside you.

    IMHO

    It happens.

Have run 6.66 many many times. Have also had a .666 reaction time...although we won't talk about that (SLOW!!).

    Rusty,

Just curious as to how you code the link so an almost 12 minute video starts at 11:22?

Yep, or you can let Youtube do it for you: Load the video you want, then click Share -> Options -> add check next to Start At.

Just watched the whole thing. Sure can tell a difference between heads up racers and bracket racers. If us bracket racers get a little out of shape, we're off the throttle (no use...the race is lost anyway). Heads up racers won't let off the throttle until they're on their lid especially the younger guys and the 10.5 guys.
