    Hey Folks
Anybody have a link or know where a fella might get some decals to fit the centers on Magnum500S. I would like them to have Comet or the mercury man on them . I know some of you fellas have mentioned getting them with the Steerheads on them and I thought maybe you would know if I can find these . I found several sites thet custom make them but as small as they do is 2" and my centers are 1 7/8". Thanks for any help.
    Later Tim

I was at a local salvage yard recently and saw a full set of small Ford lgos that appeared to be the same size as the centers on the magnums. The guy at the salvage yard said his kid came in one day with them and he made him put them down. He didn't have any idea what they came off of. I have a set of Magnums on one of my Grabbers with the Mustang centers and had been also looking for some decals or something to cover up those little horses with. As soon as I saw those Ford centers I knew I had to have them. I'll try to remember to take a photo tomorrow and post it here in case anyone else wants to try this. They worked out perfectly and I think they look great. I just wish I could tell you what they came off of but maybe someone will recognize them.

Nope...these center inserts were definately out of a late model car. Take a look...

They do look better than the standard cap.

My guess is that it is a magnum cap with an aftermarket sticker over the top. I have seen caps done this way. Looks good.

Yes, they are Magnum centers but it's not a decal in the middle. The Ford inserts are approximately the same size as the Mustang inserts that I removed. I had to fully disassemble each center cap which was not that hard. I glued them back together using the Ford inserts. The inserts are actually about 1/4 inch thick and are suppose to snap into something...I assume probably a late model wheel cover.

    Completed !!!!!!!

I ended up getting a local fella to make the decals and then covered them with plexiglass. Turned out decent i think . Just have to wait and see how they hold up.;)
