I painted the rear panel on my Grabber to freshen it up a little for the roundup. After the second coat I noticed one of my chest hairs imbedded in the paint.  I should have either worn a shirt or shaved my chest. So much for perfection. I would have redone it if I was restoring it but it matches the rest of the car. 20 footer. I just did not want to feel as embarrassed this year at the roundup with all the defects on my Grabber.

I thought your Grabber looked pretty good last year at the Roundup. This probably isn't going to keep you from being embarassed, if you look the same on stage as last year. :evilsmile

I almost hate to let everyone see the kind of shape my 77 is really in... it is a true 20 footer, and photographs pretty good. But it's almost scary when you get up close to it.

Ya gotta admire a man that puts his blood, sweat, and chest hairs into his work.

And let us pray that it really is a chest hair. :blekk!:

If you haven't seen Nick in person you are missing out. This guy was probably hanging out with Jimmy Buffet when he wrote most of his songs. A beach bum that can sing Ted Nugent(y) Can't wait to get together again Nick, You Rock!!!!! Oh yeah Nick wear a shirt and resperator when you paint.

What's a paint job without a little DNA in the paint? That just shows there's a part of you in ( or on ) your car.:) Besides, Mavericks do have hair. At least the four legged ones do. If you look real close at the left fender of my red Maverick you will find a mosquito in the clear coat. The little blood sucker got so enbedded in the clear that there was no way to completely sand him out. I guess it saw all that red paint and thought it was the biggest meal it would ever have.

I think I'd rather bleed on one than leave a hair in the paint.

Yep mine looks pretty good on a photo ,or from about 100ft. away ...the 33 yr. old paint job ain`t what it used to be:rolleyes: . I wondered to my self how many people from this board saw it at Fun Ford Weekend (commerce) and thought..."Whoa ! that car is no where near as nice as I thought it was!"

are you going to have to shave it when the hair gets long? or get it a hair cut? or maybe its an uncle festes car!!! just think when it gets long enough you can comb it over to the side!!
