Ordered one from JC Whitney last week. Was a little skeptical due to the low price, I shouldn't have been! What a nice looking piece! I have a '70 and the black is a perfect match. The cap fits so well I am considering not even gluing it down! It took all of 5 minutes to clean the old dash and "snap" the new one in place.. Just thought I would pass this along. Scott

    Scott,

I was thrilled with the way mine fit also - at first.

Beware of the sun. I recently put (a perfectly fitting) one on my BMW. The first hot day that came along (100+ degrees), it shriveled up like a prune.

'Not saying that's gonna happen to yours, and I hope it doesn't, just rambling about my own personal let-down.

Might wanna keep a sun-shade in the window when parked.

    Keep us posted on it.

    'Luck,

    Rick

    RicK,
The Dashcaps are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. If you still have your receipt, check with J.C. Whitney or whoever you bought it from. I had one for a few years and it cracked from the heat. I did not have my receipt so I just bought another one to replace it about 9 years ago. The new one still looks great - although my car is usually in my garage (not in the sun).

Cool beans on the cap lasting that long!

I wasn't so lucky as to have a life-time warrantly on mine.

    /me = eBay sucker. :(
