I was contemplating trying to sand the dash down as level as possible OVER the cracks that are already there. Then when it looks level, or is level, start by filling the cracks with fiberglass resin. After that is completed and dry, go back over it and put the resin and "kitty hair" fiberglass on it. Again let it dry. Repeat this process until the dash is "smooth" and then paint it the desired color.

I am not sure if the resin will eat through the plastic or padding of the dash. :hmmm: That is what is keeping me from trying this. Well that and the fact that I am busy as a one armed paper hanger with other projects.
