SO anyone know how to fix the turning signal indicators on the dash? Mine are not working properly, and since I have the cluster out I would like to know how to fix the turning signal indicators. The turning signals work properly in the tail lights just not on the dash so i'm thinking it as to be a cluster problems, I already replaced the bulbs and cleaned all the contact points on the cluster, what next?

Make sure theirs good contact between the harness plug and the back of the cluster. also double check and triple check your cluster bulbs as well as the ground on the cluster.

When the battery was going out on my 72 the left turn signal light on the dash would stay on, and then blink alternately with the right one sometimes when it was on. all the lights worked externally. Replacing my battery fixed it, and gave me a thought that the instrument panel is extremely sensitive to electrical problems. So good luck!

My 74 actually did the exact same thing when I got it, again putting in a new battery fixed it, further confirming to me that the instrument panel is highly sensitive to voltage problems. (Heck the fuel gauge can be used as a voltage indicator if you understand how it works electrically.)

No its probably not, but when was the last time you checked your alternator output?
