dash?

    how do you take the dash piece off? (the piece that cracks) and also the dash piece with the speaker.

    there are studs coming out of the bottom of the dash pad that go through the metal. the nuts have to be removed from ubderneath. do you have a replacement for it? if not you might just want to slip a dash cover over it for now. at least until you get another one. :)

    i dont have a dash replacement or cover. but i was talking to one guys who said take it off and cover it with soft epoxy. then sand it down, and paint it.

    still how do you take the dash piece off with the speaker under it off? same way?

    The dash pad is held on with 9 nuts and 2 screws on each end. The metal dash can only be taken out with the windshield out.

    if you take the dash pad out can you take the metal dash out then?

    no! there is a whole lot of work to take the metal dash out.
    do a search for ...dash cap... at the top of the page. this is what a lot of us use.
