Wow. 'Just got it. Major Congrats! I'd forgotten about the 393! (please let us know how the 8" holds up at the track though - we GOTTA know). (sorry for the picture quality. It was as big a fille as I could upload) text: "Not Your Average Maverick David Moore of Pataskala, Ohio, says that his car is not just another '72 Maverick Grabber, and we have to agree with him. The slightly-out-of-the-ordinary gold paint with purple flames complements the Centerline wheels and factory dual-nostril hood. When we look under the hood, things get even more interesting, with a big Windsor engine, stroked and opened up to a displacement of 393 cubic inches. A Scat forged-steel crank and Eagle H-beam rods contend with the radical 11.5:1 compression ratio. On top of the block are AFR aluminum cylnder heads. Valves are actuated by a Com Cam roller cam featuring some big numbers. A Weiand Stealth intake and Mighty Demon 820-cfm carburetor complete the engine. A C4-three-speed automatic transmission with a 3,500-rpm stall-speed converter transmits the power to an 8-inch axle with 3.80 gears. David tells us he just finished putting the car together, so we assume he hasn't had a chance to try things out yet. We have a sneaking suspicion that he didn't build the car to take his grandma to the supermarket." edited: "gold paint" was "gold pain". Ha! 'Sorry.
