I've been trying everything I could to clean the green seats in my 73, there were grey seat covers on the seats when I got the car, and they left a grey tint on the seats, and there was alot of really ground in dirt....I've tried everything I had to clean them, So last night I was thinking about what else I could use, and it came to me...Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!!!
While I took a break from Mavericks I restored a few Pinball machines, and this is what we used to clean out the ground in dirt on the playfields, so why wouldn't it work on my car....
So today I sprayed a little Mothers vinyl protectant on the seat and rubbed it with the Magic Eraser, and holy cow, the dirt was gone!!! Works great!!
I don't know if this was posted before??:yup:

I generally use windex with a nylon brush. Soak thoroughly with Windex and then brush in all different directions to get the dirt out of the vinyl grain ... Wipe often with a clean paper towel so the dirt doesn't dry and settle back into the grain ....

I use Goop or Gojo hand cleaner.
    The non-pumice types.
I just grab a glob in my hands and smear it on vinyl or plastic.
Let it sit for a moment, then wipe off.
If the surface is heavily soiled with grease, or has deep graining, a soft brush works it in.

The only stains i've seen that could stand up to gojo were in fabric
