Hey guy,s you all have any tips for pulling some decent dents out of a rear quarter panel? I dont have pictures right now but, the rear got hit at some point in my cars life. It dented the small bumper a bit, which I have since fixed. BUT it also dented the rear quarter panel, by compressing it in, into like, ridges? There are three "high spots" about an inch higher than the low spots, with minimal space in between them. I have a decent amount of body work experience but NO idea how to pull this sucker. The tail panel doesnt seem damaged at all, and in fact the side pieces that meet the bumper met the panel almost perfectly! Frame also seems fine, but it WILL be an eyesore :/ I have a friend whose house is a converted high school, he's letting me use his shop (school gym) this summer for my painting, but I need to get the car roughed in, and at least ready for filled before I take it there lol. tl;dr... Need help pulling dents in rear quarter caused by impact to bumper area.
As with any dent repair...you want to reverse the damage. Start at the edge of the dent and move toward the middle as the dent gets smaller. If the metal is stretched then use heat and water to shrink the metal
