Hey all! I've got a question for you. We are just about wrapping up the restoration of our neighbor's '76 Maverick and I've hit a snag I'm not sure about. This Maverick has a 250 6 cylinder and came with factory A/C. At one time the car was hit hard in the nose and the front end was swapped out with a Comet front end. It was hit hard enough to tweak the frame a bit and bow the AC condenser. All is good now except I'm not sure if this particular Maverick ever had a fan shroud. If it did it was more than likely busted up and not replaced. I do have a fan shroud for an A/C equipped 6 cylinder I can use, but did the '76 Mavericks with A/C even have a fan shroud? None of the Mavericks I have owned or worked on had A/C, so I'm a little lost on this subject.

Thanks for the info guys. :thumbs2: I've had this fan shroud for over 10 years and now I can finally get rid of it. Of course I'm not going to give it away. It's in like new condition. It just needs to be cleaned up and installed. Anyone have any ideas on much much a fan shroud like this would sell for?

I'd say anywhere from $75-$125. I paid $100 for one before because there was nothing out there. Guess what...it came in broken. Luckily it was insured.
