After seeing that 30 year old V8 frame mounts are selling for $50 - $75 and repops are going for $120 - $150 I thought I'd see how difficult it would be to cut and weld my own. To do that I need either some good sketches, drawings or pictures with dimensions or a pair I could borrow to take my own measurements. If anyone could send me some I would reimburse them for any shipping costs.

How soon do you need them? They have weird angles to them so its not a piece of cake but I'll be glad to lend you a set. You can just return them at Carlisle or the Roundup if you need them longer.

As Dennis has stated....they have a complex set of angles to them. I never noticed until somebody pointed it out to me. Must be why they are hard (ie, expensive) to make.

I have a spare frame mount if you would like it. I bought it on ebay for like $10 with the intention of fabricating up some new ones. Before I could do that, I crossed paths with a beat 4 door with a 302, so I didn't need to fabricate them. I'd need to get back what I paid for it, plus 5 bucks shipping or so. Interested? It's rusty, but will work fine for measurement purposes.

Without having ever seen them personally, I assume the left and right pieces are different? From pictures I can see the strange angles but the aftermarket ones seem more boxy and straightforward, at least the ones Chuck sells. Dennis, you're closest I think. That would be great if I could borrow yours and return them at Carlisle.
