I found these from a link somewhere here on the forums and was wondering if anyone's ever tried these: http://www.discbrakeswap.com/Mustang Disc Brake Conversion Kits SWAP3.html I'm going to have to read up on all this (fortunately I'm related to some car nuts who'd be more than willing to help) but I'm really getting a little tired of how difficult it is to brake with 4 drums. I'd love to go cheaper but this seems to come with everything and I'm getting my tax rebate soonish so...
So you're saying I should get this kit instead: www.discbrakeswap.com/Mustang%20Disc%20Brake%20Conversion%20Kits%20SWAP2.html. Do they bolt right up, or how much finagling do they require?
Looks like the only thing you might have to do is re-flare some brake lines at most. But if you have 14" wheels you'll want the other kit, unless you switch to 15's. If I were you, I'd try to find a Granada in a junk yard, but I'm cheap.
it says in thsoe links that those kits are only compatible with maverick/comet up to the year 1973. is there a kit like that for the later model cars? also those appear to be kits for the front brake swap only. is there a kit like that for the rears?
