    Hi
For drag racing applacation does the spot where this switch is located need to be red or just the ON/OFF tab that comes with it?
I want to mount this switch in the location where the gas cap was in the center of the back pannel. But I'd like to mount it into a chrome pieace so it looks nice... Per say. :)
    Thanks
    Tim

The disconnect switch just has to be marked on/off so you are good to go with your plan :thumbs2:

I had thought they had to be red for indentification..............or maybe I'm thinking about SCCA spec's.

NHRA and IHRSA just require them to be clearly marked. :)

Thanks for clarifing that Don, and it is the SCCA that mandates a red label or tag for electrical cutoff so it can be easily identified if the driver is hurt in a crash so the safety crew can find it quickly.

Got mine from Jegs, billet polished aluminum with hollow "ON" & "OFF" so your paint color shows through. Expensive ($51) but sweet. See pic.
