I was inspired by yours when I saw it on Sunday. To bad we didn't get a chance to chat. Mine was parked in the parking lot:/
Thanks! I had no idea I could inspire anyone. Too bad you didn't register for the event. It was my first time and enjoyed it! They took 3 pictures of each car and posted them on Fabulous Fords Forever website. One of the exterior, one of interior and the engine bay. By next year you'll have a fine example of a 70 Maverick and enter it for all to see the hard work you put in it. I noticed you have a grabber spoiler, I wanted one but hard to find so I made my own from sheet metal. Had no example to go by so I guessed at the dimensions. Mine is also a 70, had a six and rebuilt a 85 roller 5.0 that was given free. I rebuilt the original c-4 at home and bolted them together and installed same time. Every step of the way was hard, I hadn't known of this forum at the time. There is always someone here who knows how to help out. Welcome to the forum!
That's amazing! Nice job on the spoiler! Actually I had no idea mine was a grabber spoiler, I thought they were all the same, haha. Yeah it will be in next years show for sure and many others along the way
I was digging on your mustang wheels and the gas cap was really eye catching! Are you local to SoCal? If so we gotta meet up in the Mavs some time.
Thanks! It's not perfect at all, but it's its glued on forever. What part of Calif. you from? I'm in Moreno Valley near Riverside.
Thanks! Those are off my 2005 Mustang V6. I put GT wheels on it long before I bought the Mav. Had to use spacers though. The gas cap was a gift a friend gave me. My car came with one just like yours, but cracked across the center. I like those better actually. The blue Maverick beside me had the same one. I'm recently retired from U.S. Post Office, 36 years worth. So I have more time for stuff. We should meet with the Mavericks, that would be cool.
