    Ijust wanted to know if any is restoring or has restored a 70 maverick because of im restoring one.:) :D :D :cool:

    I'm not restoring a 1970, but wanted to tell you that I'm in Austin and there are several Maverick owners in the Texas/Louisiana area. We're going to get together sometime this year. Keep your eyes out on our club meet section--you won't want to miss out. Welcome to the Forum!

    P.S. I used to own a '70 MAVERICK GRABBER 27 years ago, though.

    Mine's a '70. If by "restored" you mean numbers matching parts as it came from the factory, I'm a long way from that.

    '70 Mav I6 250:'77 parts car--- looking...
    I just got a '70. I'm in the process of swapping the wheels/Brakes/Rearend from a '77 parts car for the front disks and better rearend.

    I have a 69 1/2 (70) Just put 5 lug fromt disks and a 5 lug 8in rear end in it. I will not be restoring it as such but will be fixin her up.

    Man, old post! I am working on getting a 70 (69 1/2) right now. It might end up being my daily driver this fall. I haven't really decided what exactly I am going to do with it yet.
