So i have 1.6 ratio, Comp cam roller tip rockers sitting on top of recently installed 3/8" screw in studs. I'm using Comp cam poly-lock nuts (the kind that has the allen-headed middle screw that you tighten down). My question is this: there is a black spacer that went between the nut and the rocker arm pivot ball. The spacer no longer fits, as I've upgraded my stud size to 3/8". Do I need this spacer? I kind of feel like it's necessary if you're doing self-locking nuts, but I've tossed those in lieu of the poly locks.
    Any info is appreciated!

(I've included a nifty picture of the spacer in question.)

I would call Comp Cams, but it sounds like you may need to buy rockers for a 3/8 stud.
