Do we have a definitive answer on carpet brands/fits?

    My two main choices are AutoKrafters and the e-bay ones.

    Prices are similar. AutoKrafters might be more reliable.

    Are we sure the AK ones fit?

    I gotta do this soon, haven't had carpet for 4 years, and just cleaned up all the surface rust and welded up a bunch of holes, then painted with POR-15, and don't want to do anything else, including driving, until I have carpet installed.

    I have a one piece form ACC, fits nice, lots of extra so it can be trimmed for a really nice fit, and they have loads of colors to order from. ACC is what Auto Krafters sells, from what the catalog says. Auto Custom Carpets

    The Auto Krafters one piece carpet is made by ACC. That's where I got mine from and it fits and looks great. Some trimming will be required.

    I havn't finished mine but I did test fit it and it fits really good with extra for triming to fit around the edges. Seems a little thin but without another to compare to I don't know if that is an issue. I like it anyway...

    Mine is a two piece with the ends that come together hemmed and they overlap.

    AK runs about $30 more than the e-bay dealers, but if I get positive feedback on the AK carpets, it is worth the extra $$$ just to know that it will fit. I would hate to save a couple bucks, then find that the e-bay stuff is not even close...

    Auto Krafters and most of the ebay sellers I have dealt with all sell ACC Carpets. The carpet in my orange 1972 Grabber is ACC carpet I bought from an ebay seller. As long as it is ACC carpet.....it should be the same.

    When delivered to my house....it was a direct shipment from ACC in an ACC box.

    I bought the carpet for my '73 from Melvin's Classic Ford Parts. It was drop shipped from the manufacturer to my house...ACC. Seeing a pattern here?

    Sold my 1974 Comet - Looking super nice 73 Maverick near Memphis
    I got mine off ebay from newenglandmustang,,very nice, good customer service..mine was sent from Trim Parts in Ohio. You can talk to Lynn there...They even sent me 2x2" samples...
