Why clip the wire when you can remove the buzzer completely? It just un-plugs. Yeah, I got rid of that P.O.S. 23 years ago.

Now if I could just figure out how to remove that damned beeper on my Ford Escort...

Still got mine, plan on keeping it to. I know if I get rid of it I'll end up locking my keys in the car, so it's staying.

I know for a fact I would have locked them in the car several times already if it wasn't for that buzzer.

I locked myself out of the house today...

I took the door buzzer wire and fabbed it to my left temple. Now every 15 seconds I get a jolt of DC and it keeps me from falling asleep. Also works well for cooking in the car. Clipping the wire will cause an imbalance in the left rear wheel and affect the timing of the hubcap and wheel, resulting in a subforce that has been known to convert amps to jigawatts and end result is time travel of unknown destinations or dates. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! See ya in the future, maybe.

The buzzer is disconnected on both of our Mavericks. The wires are still there, just unplugged.

Frank, how did you do that? I have left my lights on a couple of times also while going in stores and stuff. Luckily, I haven't left it long enough to run the battery down - YET...

It runs in my family though, my dad is the exact same with forgeting stuff like that.

Dan, your to much man. :biglaugh:
