door panel dye

    i have blue 72 2 door panels and i want them black how does the dye stuff work? or does any one have any black door panels for sale maybe??

    Just mask and spray like spray paint. The door panels in my Grabber were also factory blue when I got them ... and I used SEM to make them black ...

    The secret in dying vinyl is to prep (clean) the vinyl with a precleaner made for the job. Then use a top shelf dye - I also like the SEM products but have also had great success with PPG/Ditzler dyes.

    Prep, prep, and more prep .............. ;)
