First thing you might want to do is go to an auto parts store and get yourself a door panel clip removal tool. It looks like a screw driver with a forked end on it. To remove the panels, take off the window cranks, the armrest and the plastic part around the door handle. Once all that is off, use the door panel clip remover to gently pull the clips free from the shell of the door. Just side the forked end of the tool around the clips and pull them out. I have a two door and there are about 20 clips on each panel. You can probably get away with using a screwdriver for this, but the door panel clip remover tool will make it much easer. The back of the door panel is made of particalboard and the inserts where the clips fit in tears pretty easy. If you use the proper tool, it should prevent that from happening.

The plastic part around the door handle has little tits on the front and back edges. Have to carfully pry one side out. The top of the arm rest has a phillips screw holding it in. You have to slide back the trim ring to get to it.
