Door sill plates..What fits

    Was wondering if the sill plates from say a Mustang will fit my Comet.I don't have any right now and thought if a early stang were the same they would be alot easier to find Thanks Derek

    Mustang ones will fit, but the screw holes are in different spots, 71-73 mustang I think.

    Cool,i just happen to have a 1971 Mach 1 in the shop right now with the interior out i'll have to ''borrow'' them and see if the lenth is the same.I don't care if i have to redrill the car is far from original.

    Haha the seats are toast and it's an auto,the guy who owns it probably bought new sills any way he seems to have bought everything else for the car,full interior kit,quarters,fenders,valences,bumpers,new spoiler,magnum 500's,the list goes on.the car should look great i wish i had taken pics of it when we started on it.

    According to the Ford Parts book, the part # is D1ZZ6513208A which is a 71 Mustang part that will fit 71 & 72, don't know what fits later years but would think they are the same thru 77.
