    I ordered a 1973 Grabber new from Hawkinson Ford the day after I returned from overseas. I raced at Oswego, U.S. 30 and Great Lakes.
    I built up the 302 and dropped in a top loader four speed. I was running 14.10's on street tires. I REALLY miss that car! I sold it to buy a new 1975 Cougar XR/7.

    :Welcome: to the board! Your '73 sounds like it would have been a great car! If you happen to have any old pics of it...we would all be thrilled(most of us anyway :yup: ). Traded for a Cougar..and a big one at that...pretty rough!

    My 92' Super Coupe has a five speed............and it's sweet too.

    It just does not have the "feel" of the old top loader.
