I've got some rust on my drip rail on the passenger side, so how do I remove the trim? Looks like it pops off the bottom first then rolls up, but I don't want to screw it up.
Taking it off is easy ... putting it back on you'll screw it up! I know from experience .. Unless you absolutely positively have to take it off ... don't take it off. If you take it off ... consider leaving it off. Ford apparantly had special tools to install this stuff without denting it up putting it on ....
Taking it off is harder in my book. I've never had a problem putting it back on. Geeze, sounds like my ex.
I used the wood plank method to get it off ... took about 2 minutes per side ... Please explain your method of reinstalling it with no dents.
I'll be takeing mine off and leaving it off. Every Mav/Comet I have seen that I really liked, didn't have it.
I just hooked it over the top and used a block of wood and tapped it down from the top as far as it would go, then just kinda pushed on the bottom with my hands. It popped right on.
