Drive Shaft Difference?

    1970 Maverick, 66 Fairlane, 89 Mustang LX Convertible
    If I am doing the I6 to V8 swap in my 70 Maverick, do I need to change the drive shaft also? Is there a difference in drive shaft length between an I6 and V8 setup?

    I have the original drive shaft that came out of the 71 Maverick that donated the V8 to my car, I just didn't know if I needed to use it.

    I6 & V8 use the same driveshaft.
