Apparently, we have a busted driveshaft on our 74 maverick. We replaced the 200 I6 and manual trans. with a 302 and a c4 trans. I am wondering if we should have replaced the driveshaft?
Anyway, where can we get a new driveshaft?

Only difference between a 200 and 302 driveshaft is 1" in the length. Both use the same ujoint and slip yoke. Any driveshaft shop can make you a new shaft…or you can buy a used shaft from any number of members on this forum.

I got my driveshaft from a wrecked 5.0 mustang...fits great!
