Im looking into running some nhra bracket races, and i need to join the nhra but right now i was just curios if they have a no electronics class? Nearly all the stuff i ran was outlaw track and we had footbrake and et-1?
what Jack said.....also called: BRACKET 1 (electronics) BRACKET 2 (no-electronics, but allow trans-brakes)
Where I race we have 3 classes. Sportsman 12.00-19.99 Must have mufflers. Pro about 8.0-12.99. Can run open headers, tranny breaks. And Super pro all out electronics, dragsters and door cars. Not sure of the times for the classes.
I know the track i was thinking of running has a time break but thats about all i can find on rules. Probably have to ultimately call or go talk to them.
I went to there site ,but unless i missed it i never could find a definet answer or list of rules. As far as class rules just safety. www.kcir.net
Seemks they run footbrake, pro and super pro there. Couldn't find anything on the times. Here's their link.http://www.kcir.net/content/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Itemid=44
Hmm, for some reason the link just goes to a race results page and doesnt show results. I was actualy going to run the sunoco races they actualy pay something for winning. If i can find a comperable class.
The download says 2006, but here it is in a nut shell. So basically what has been mentioned: 1) electronics class 2) no-electronics, but can run a brake 3) foot brake only.
