    I reworked the simple conversion diagram I made to include the part numbers and pictures of the components I used. There seems to be many ways to do this conversion. I read online forums and tech boards till my head was spinning but I finally came up with this just to keep it simple.

    Many say a ballast resistor is needed, others say that's only for aftermarket 12V coils when used with a stock point distributor. Seems that is an endless arguement....I'm not using one.

    Several guys on the Mustang forums have used this conversion and say it works like a champ.

    I didn't run the White wire between the module and solenoid. I also found a switched 12v wire under the hood that use to run to the emissions to feed the module. I've seen people wrongly use their old resistor wire that feeds the coil to run the module thinking it’s a 12v supply. I like the use of the relay feeding a true 12v to the ignition system
