Did any of you ever see Dyno Don race his Maverick in Pro Stock? I seen him one time at the old US 30 dragway in York Pa. at the summer nationals.......many years ago.I think it was 72. I had my 71 Maverick at the time........good old days.............

I was too young in the early 70's (only four or five) at that time but I remember seeing the car in some hotrod mags when I was a little older. I though it was one trick machine. Had a picture of it posted on my bedroom wall. I would love to see some old video footage.(y)

    Ditto- I was 4 in '72.

I have seen the car 3 or four times in person however.

Never seen the car in person...would like to though....what a great piece of history.
IMO one of the most "unrecognized" piece of 70's drag racing around.

IF you like old race cars, you might enjoy this:
    http://www.quartermilestones.com/raymann.htm

I enjoy looking at the setting, the people, ads and
vehicles not racing in the background as much as
    the race cars.

    It's a neat site.

Don's car was at Carlisle year before last. Was neat to see it as well as hear it run.
