e-brake relocation

    has anyone relocated the e-brake from a floor pedal to a handle on the trans tunnel and / or console? any advice appreciated.

    Did you see the writeup in Modified Mustangs & Fords (sept 2008) issue? it's about using the Lokar kit, looks pretty neat.

    yeah i saw that as well... if I had the several hundred for that kit, i'd be all over it...

    Why not take the entire handle and cable kit from a Mustang 2?
    I have never tried it, but it is the same size car with the same 8" rear.
    It all should be able to retrofit over to a Mav.

    It's only around 250 for the handle and the cable kit at Summit, not too bad. I think it would be less work than trying to retro fit something. I try to find the easiest way, I fix things all day, and all night it seems.
