Okay, so I would like to paint a few components to match the block.

    I've tried this: http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=139&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=ford

And it is too dark and too much purple.

    I've also tried this: http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=141&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=ford

    And it is too light.

If the light blue was 2 shades darker, I think I'd have a match. And I've cleaned the block over and over and am sure I've gotten down to the original paint/powdercoat.

Is there an "in between" color that I don't know about?

Armoth; go to any Mustang parts house. They have the original Ford Blue, in the Ford cans, for about $10/can. Seems to be correct on my car. Good luck,

I just use that Ford blue engine paint made by Plastic Coat. Works great on anything.
