you'll need to fit mustang fenders on to the maverick frame and make them match up to the doors correctly before fitting the front and hood on. seems like a helluva job. why not just find a mustang if you want one so bad? im seeing so much mustang envy from maverick owners latley, its a shame.

    Mavericks rule mustangs drow

no i ratter stick with my maverick the mustangs are to common and are really not my type of car i see to many old mustangs being driving around in my home town and little mavs or none its a shame. I did however see a maverick with a 60 something mustang bumper, sideskrit and fear wings (whatever those maybe) and it did look really cool:yahoo:

    I fixed your links...

Find the picture elsewhere on the internet, right click on it and choose "Copy image location", then come back to the forum, hit the orange button with the mountain and sun in it, and past your link there, and it will pull the pics up.

I looks like you did it, but maybe copied the image rather than image location, or something...

Good bodywork, straight lines, but I am not too fond of the package...at least he got the sidepipes (which I actually like) lined up correctly by putting on a chin spoiler to keep the lines even. Cannot tell from the pics if he kept the line even at the rear. some of the Brazilian guys use similar sidepipes, but they don't line up right...I will try to find a pic...

Good concept, I just don't think the lines are even, and it throws the car a little odd...

I like that maverick! but aside from the paint sceme it really doesnt have much in common with elenor as far as any kind of body mods. aside from the side pipes and scoop it really is just a stock-ish body, whichis fine. it looks really good anyway. probably better than a big plastic bumper hanging down.

the MII looks pretty good as well but that hood scoop seem a little too small, and theres something about those 1/4 window scoops that doesnt seem right

I think that's about the best looking Mustang II I've ever seen. (y) Of course I haven't seen too many I liked at all.

I agree, the mustang II had nice front suspension, but it was butt-ugly. I was fond of the blue and white Cobra, back in, '78 or so...Wasn't that a one-year option?
