how hard is it to convert to electric windows? are there any kits out there or any donor vehicles that would make a near perfect fit?

Price is fair, but they don't list as fitting Mavericks

Did anyone figure out which setup would fit the Maverick? I've compared pictures of both Maverick and the 69-70 bolt in style Mustang regulators and they look the same. Not sure if they are the same dimensions.

one fellow board member installed power mirrors on their car and i believe they used lincoln window motors, although new brackets had to be cut and welded on for them to work

mavdog71 used '93 Taurus window motors, from the rear doors of the Taurus. There are pics in his gallery. It did require welding a bracket on to mount the motor. I plan to do the same thing to my car.

I got a universal kit off ebay that uses the original window regulators.

Yeah, I have a universal kit from Autoloc and they work sorta okay but I want to replace the regulators and update the system. I'm pretty sure those 69-70 Mustang regulators are the same as the Maverick, or at the very least very close. The window in the 2dr Maverick is just so long and heavy.
