You can either buy new kits or if you are good at fabrication you can use the rear power window motors out of the late 80's early 90's ford taurus. Mavdog71 has some pics in his gallery on using the taurus motors on his maverick assembly to give you an idea on the work involved. http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/browseimages.php?do=member&catid=member&imageuser=2587&page=3 otherwise you can buy a kit and adapt it to our window mechanisim but sometimes those require as much work as adapting the taurus units.:16suspect
I have a couple of pictures of my conversion in the thread Bad news and good news. I used ford taurus motors.
Easiest way is a power window kit form AutoLoc, Ive had this on for 13 years or so. Only thing is its hard to get it behind the door panel, it will leve a bump in the middle. I made new panels and cut the wood out around the motor and gear and covered the rest in vinyl and foam.
Is that the motor in the center of the door panel, and it looks like it's attached to the original window winder shaft with some sort of track?
I've had one of those kits sitting on the shelf for about 7 or 8 years now. Someday I should put to use...
Yes the motor is in the middle. It drives a gear on that end that rotates the cable that goes to the other end. The other end is put right on top of the original window regulator. Quite simple really. It can work on anything as long as there is room behind the door panel. I did have these behind stock panels for a while, but it made quite the buldge. With a little more work I probably could have recessed it more. But I was young and in a rush on everything back then.
