I want to let everyone know about a side project I have been working on. I wanted to get a jackets my wife and I could wear that have the "Maverick" emblem on them. I succeeded, but to meet minimum order requirements I ended up with extras, so now I am offering them up to all the other Maverick nuts of the world :D I could have had them done a bit cheaper, but I went for quality rather than the cheapest possible. I have been wearing mine for the past few days in 30s and 40s up here in MI and it is pretty warm. The exterior is polyurethane coated nylon that is water resistant and the inside is quilted nylon with an interior pocket. These are somewhat heavier than the typical nylon jacket of this style.
I have set everything up on ebay to make it easy for anyone who wants to buy one. I only have black and navy blue in large and extra large. Click one of the following links to get the one you want:

    Large Black:

    Extra Large Black(SOLD OUT!):

If it turns out that lots of people wanted these I could order more, but the next order would have to have at least 24(I got a special deal for these). At that point I could possibly get different sizes and colors, but before that happens I need to get rid of these first. :)

Those look just like the ones AngryBison was selling earlier this year. He took a while to get them made, but they are very good jackets.

Rick, I have a 2XL from AngryBison and it fits. I'm sure you can wear a 2XL if I can. I'm 250 and wear a size 50 suit coat. I doubt you are bigger than that.:p

I never did see the ones that Bison had made.

I think he has some jackets on Ebay right now too, but they just have the steer head on them without the "Maverick" logo.

Rick...2XL are possible, but would have to be part of a future order. I have to get rid of these first before I think about ordering up some more. My wife already thinks I am crazy and that I am gonna get stuck with a pile of Maverick jackets that no one wants..I gotta prove her wrong! :p (3 down and 7 more to go! :) Thanks guys!!)

The lady I was working with was nice and let me order only 12 this time and she gave me the price break as if I had ordered 24, so to keep the price from creeping higher (would be about $8 per jacket..arggh!) I have to order 24 at a time. I found that the sizing on these is pretty generous and that I can wear a large with no problem when I would usually have to take an XL, so maybe an XL would work for ya, I dunno....

He's already in trouble. My dad, my friend Archie and myself were in Macon, GA on Friday. We went to a great toy store called Harbor Freight. Frank and his son, Chris, met us there. Frank asked about something and I directed him to another part of the store. A few minutes later, I heard him say, " I don't know where he is, Chris. Just look for the goofy hat." That goofy hat is pictured in my avatar. I don't think it's goofy.
